At least at my house it is.
Ever since Maylee was born I've been having a lot of trouble with my PCOS. The symptoms have become way worse then they were before I got pregnant and I just need to TRY SOMETHING to get rid of them. So after reading a bunch of medical articles on PCOS, and discovering that a large majority of women with PCOS have a gluten intolerance, I've decided to give it a try.
So I decided I would devote one month to non-gluteny eating and see how I feel. I started yesterday.
Of course I forgot that we have 4 birthdays in our family in the month of April. Sigh. Good-bye birthday cake. (No, I will not be making my poor family eat birthday cake made out of rice & sorghum flour. I will suffer alone on those days.)
And I also forgot that I'm going on vacation the last week in April. Yay...gluten-free on a road trip. That will be fun.
In retrospect it might have been smarter to start in May. Oh well.
I thought it was going to be really hard to find things to eat until I found this blog. She is amazing! Her food is yummy, simple, and for everyone (not just the gluten-free weirdos). Seriously, go look at her recipes. You'll be glad you did.
Day 1 - Oatmeal, Chicken Pad Thai, rice chips and hummus, Chicken and Broccoli rice bowls, and dark chocolate. As you can see I'm really suffering. :-)

We were just looking at all the pictures of the kids and if there were any other children that are good and sweet and cute like your kids chris said he would actually have kids...they are just so well behaved and how calm they are and how amazing they care for each other.. chris wants t o know who well you all get along, he has never seen siblings get along so well like emma and eli do. he is dumb founded by it.
Christy,
That's a huge compliment! I blame Amy entirely for our children turning out the way they have :-P
